Allie over here posted this video on her blog and I thought I would share too...
How many times do we see a young woman in a magazine and think, "Wow. I want to look like her"?
Far to many girls and women think this thought in today's world.
This video really opened up my eyes.
I pray that you will be able to see yourself as "fearfully and wonderfully made" by God Himself.
You are beautiful...
Note: You might want to scroll down to the bottom and pause the blog music. :)

if only those two girls walking by knew what happened for that advertisement...
I've seen this video a few times and it's definitely one of my favorites. I think our society needs to re-evaluate what it means to be beautiful. No one looks like the girls in the magazines, not even themselves!
thanks for sharing. Cute blog! :)

I wish more people would post things like this. So true... Everyone has their own beauty but they all want to have that worldly beauty they see on TV. :( The best beauty always comes from the heart.
How wonderful it would be if everyone learned to embrace the beauty that God has given them....however different in may be. :)
I've seen that video before but, I just watched it again twice. Really is fascinating how much editing goes into a face for advertising....if only we could realize that all the time with all the images we are bombarded with huh. Good stuff!
Oh my gosh I saw this a couple weeks ago and I was in shock! I wonder how much editing they do in most magazines.. the media is ridiculous. Thanks for sharing (:
I wrote a research paper on this subject a few months back, and actually used this video as one of my sources. It is such an eye opener!
Wow! So inspiring! Hope you dont mind but i posted this on my blog (and left a link to yours)
