it was a sunday afternoon.
the sun was shining and the ladies were gathering.
the church fellowship hall was a bustling place.
the decorations had been set and the ice cream and toppings were waiting to be enjoyed.
and then, the presents were passed to the bride-to-be and the ooh's and aah's began.
pictures in picture frames, towels, and a handmade apron, all the gifts were loved, each and every one.
company was enjoyed and quality time with sister's in Christ was treasured.

while the party was being cleaned up and the tables were set straight, the bride and family and a few friends went outside for a few snapshots.

Oh how fun! We did bridal shower last summer and baby shower is going to after the baby is born and hosted at their house in January/February. My sister and her husband just bought an old farmhouse and are fixing it up before moving in. So instead of hauling all the presents back to their house and having people come and go wanting to see the house and baby, we're going to make it a one afternoon deal. Plus, baby showers with the baby present are so much more fun!!! =)
