The Brother's Wedding: Reception and Get-a-Way

pies instead of cake, two silver rings, a bouquet tossed, bubbles galore, hot pavement that burns feet, teasing by Rodge and Andrew, picnic basket with goodies for the road, groom having to pass out his own bubbles, bare feet, joyful laughter, a sister's love, a glowing bride and an excited groom, tears from a Grandaddy, a circle of prayer, pink John Deere, two families joined into one, relief that the wedding was over, amazing feeling of play clothes, hitching a ride with a friend and taking two u-turns, going to Roadhouse Grill for dinner, a Phase 10 card game that lasts into the early morning hours, a good nights sleep, feeling the blessing of gaining another sister and daughter in our family....

The bouquet was thrown....

....and Memory, my sister caught it. ;)

"Here they come!"

Grandaddy and my brother are really close, so there were tears shed between them.

I love him so much!

Son/Mother moment

The Brother's Wedding: The Rehearsal Dinner

gorgeous view of Lynchburg, a creative mother-of-the-groom, mason jars to drink out of, bear skins on the wall, pride and prejudice background music, the color of pool blue, burlap sack material, monogrammed napkins, happy smiles to go around, a waterfall of cookies, excited chatter all around, programs printed by a friend, hymns sung to God, touching tears from the brother while leading the Greatest Commands, pictures of friends, a groomsman's words, the two phone books that can't be pulled apart, a grandfather's love and tears, song lyrics from a future brother-in-law, excitement of receiving a new smart phone, hands-on-hips pictures, catching gummy bears in the mouth, meeting at an air-conditioned church for rehearsal, two flower girls that adore the groom, a group shot........

The Brother's Wedding: The Bridesmaid's Brunch

a GPS and an uncle to get us there, a 20-minute scenic drive, a bed and breakfast to accommodate, an aunt that's done everything, fruit and yogurt with pancakes and bacon and eggs, sweet syrup, happy girls, joined hands in a prayer circle and tears flowing, puppy faces, hydrangeas so blue, music playing on a pink iPhone, goodie bags from the bride to her bridesmaids, flower girls playing in the fish pond, gnats that wouldn't leave us alone, a stone wall, bright colored dresses, humid but beautiful day, squeezing on stairs to snap the pic, anticipating the laser tag war planned for the afternoon, running up to the room to change in the 5-minute time slot, winning a war with the sister and guys, getting ready for the rehearsal dinner, arriving at the lodge and enjoying the breathtaking view that God had so richly blessed us with......

The grandmothers:
Nana, Gran, and Mrs. Craft (India's grandmother)

Oh, Just a stalker picture taken out the window..... ;D
