strawberries + bananas = this!

Smoothies are a popular thing at our house.

Whenever dinnertime approaches, the smoothie preparation begins. Most of the time, it is our "appetizer" before the meal. We like to experiment with what we put in the cool drinks, but this is basically what goes in the tasty treats....

Here it goes, the secret ingredients (whoops! not so secret anymore since they just posted on the WORLD wide web ;)....

When I prepare them, I don't really measure out the ingredients. Normally, I just do "a little of this" and "a little of that." But, to make it maybe a wee bit easier, I'll try to make up a recipe (if it doesn't turn out, please don't sue me...work with it, that's the fun of "experimenting"). :D

What you will need:
2 bananas
8-10 strawberries
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of blueberries
A glass full of ice cubes

What you will do:
~ Combine all ingredients into the nifty invention called the blender.
And if you don't have one of those....well, I really don't know what to tell you....
~ Blend until ice is completely crushed.
~ Pour into glasses and ENJOY!

Ta-Da! See, it's so easy a cave man can do it! (haha. i love those commercials. :)

Oh yeah, it makes about 5 small servings....

These look amazing! And the images of your sister in the cotton field are just gorgeous! I couldn't quit looking. Cotton is something you don't see very much up here in the Indiana.

This looks awesome! I normally don't like bananas, but I think they's be great in a smoothie like this!

We make green smoothies 3-4 days every single morning for breakfast. They are so healthy and filling! Besides -- so yummy! I may try these for an evening snack sometime!
